Charts summarize what you already logged—how entries fall across days, thinking patterns (including cognitive distortions), and personal goals. Two-week and one-month ranges are included for every chart; Clearthought Pro unlocks longer spans, optional this-period vs. prior comparison, streak summaries, weekly check-in score trends (GAD-7 & PHQ-9; self-report—not a diagnosis), and sleep context from Apple Health. Drawn only from your library on your device; Clearthought doesn’t host your journal on our side.
When you want a closer look, dedicated trend views slice the same library by thinking pattern and by goal—so you can revisit what shows up, without turning your journal into a scorecard. Screens may show longer ranges or comparisons that require Clearthought Pro.

The core journal and chart views work without a subscription. On the free tier, older thought and dream entries (beyond about a month) are removed on your iPhone so the app stays manageable. Clearthought Pro keeps your whole journal on device and adds weekly check-ins, deeper charts, a monthly recap, PDF export, backups, and more—always under the same privacy stance: your journal text is not uploaded to Clearthought.
